He's not wrong. Switching to E85 in a lot of vehicles requires much more than software...

Ethanol is more corrosive than gasoline and it also tends to attract water, which can cause rust to develop within the fuel system.

If you boys are concerned about rust, corrosion, your fuel lines rotting etc. I recommend you just forfeit the power gain. And stick within your comfort level. Me, I'll always take cheap extra power.

The rubber neoprene used in the last 20 + years is resistant to the drying effect that ethanol may have. Since the 80's American manufactures have adapted all fuel systems to be compatible with ethanol. You need not worry. Only be concerned with the tune and injector size using E85 will need.
