Converted to e85 and 79 mm pulley on roush tvs went 10.40 at 136.78. Ordered MAK cat deletes. How much mph do you think the cat will gain?

Some say cat deletes won't make a difference but I have them.

They will make a big difference, especially on a fi car.I would bet 30 to 40 hp with your setup.

I know I am very excited. I am confident on a perfect day I can pop 9.99@140. The best part is potential 9 second daily driver.

I can't remember what I got out of the cat deletes , but I got something for sure ...You need to do it anyway because if you race a lot you will burn up your cats ..I burned up my cats one track night after 4 passes ... :(

I don't think cat delete will tick off .4 off your ET.

Are you doing a retune with them? If so, I say 17-20rwhp.

Yes retune. I don't think it will pick up 4/10 either. The cat only needs 2 mph to get a high 9. 2 mph on the top end and 1/10th in the 60 might just dip it into. 9.99

I gained 17 hp when i was na,fi will gain more.70% of the power that comes from doing headers comes from removing the cats.Op post back and tell if u think u only gained 10 hp from them. Also when u start getting close to 9sec runs the 10hp gain knocks off a tenth on your et is not accurate.

Exactly. It takes a lot more to move from 10.40 to 9.90 that 11.40 to 10.90. I am hoping to pick up 2 mph. 139 mph is the goal.

Smokin,

My 1/8 mph is almost identical to the 9.993 you went 106.59 I went 106.60 your sixt is exactly .10 quicker than mine and u went 1.51 mph more in the quarter. I had a 7-12 mph head wind. Per this data my car could go 9.99 the Da on your runs was 241 mine was 1440-1575.

Thanks for directing me where to find the info.
