WHEN GETTING A DYNO TUNE AND THEY FLASH THE COMPUTER DIRECTLY, ARE ANY DISADVANTAGES TO THAT? or getting a device such as a ngauge or sct just give you more options, save tunes, read codes, live data?

Using a direct flash, just means that if you need an update you have to used them again.
And you can't really do "email updates".... or return the car to stock easy.

Ngauge, Diablo, or SCT allows you to datalog, email update, and return to stock.

At the end of the day, the tuners "data" that goes into the car should be the same, no matter what software platform they are using to make the file.
