Hello everyone,

I am looking for a reputable dyno shop that do mustangs specifically. I am hoping to find one within an hour-two or so of Bay Ridge, BK.

Any suggestions?

Are there any other reputable shops, or are they just the 2 mentioned above?

I've heard of Mustang Magic in Deer Park but I haven't dealt with them personally. They were quick to answer an email I sent them.

I really want to go to JDM Engineering but they have a 2 month wait and a run with tuning is $850.

But i have heard great things about that place.

JDM is good and very helpful but their prices and wait times are high.

Mustang Magic I wouldn't recommend for tuning, I spoke with them awhile back and they turn off knock sensors which is not the correct way to tune a Coyote.

The only shop I can recommend is PSI Proformance but they may be a little farther from you. They work on mustangs but other cars as well too.

If you go Krazy House you get Rob Shoemaker who also works with Palm Beach Dyno.

Hmm, id rather not risk it and just go somewhere that does really good work.

Another bump for PSI. There is the The Shop in Norwalk, CT. They appear to have a dyno. I have not used them, but plan to check them out this year because they are so close. Also, EFIlogics in bethel CT has a dyno (they do a lot of work on subies (very pleased when they tuned my STi) but looks like they've done tunes on mustangs too. Good luck, let us know where you end up and how it goes...

Mustang Magic in Deer Park does the job well...they're a little, um, cliquey, there though. Kind of and old school mustang guy club feeling there. Real Speed Automotive in Bohemia (Suffolk County) was good when they put my headers on. Younger guys, and were just starting up. Mind you I haven't been to either place since 2008 with my 03 GT.
