Many of you have seen our thread about testing the GT350 Intake Manifold and Throttle Body on our 2015 A6 GT with great results.

Today we are retesting the car on our dyno with the addition of Kook's Full Exhaust kit for the 2015-2016 Mustang GT.

The fit and finish on this kit is second to none. We have done quite a few exhaust installs on 2015+ Mustangs and this is by far one of the best fitting kits we have worked with especially the cat-back section.

Results:

The Kooks headers picked up about 13WHP at peak and a huge bump of 25+WTQ in the low end. This is pretty much what we had expected. Since our car was last tested with the Magnaflow Cat-Back we can assume that was worth about 10 WHP. In short, a full exhaust system is going to be worth on average 25-30WHP with big gains in torque at the hit of the throttle.

This was all done on the same tune used during our GT350 manifold test. No changes.

Just to recap, here is a graph showing our A6 with a Tune, Magnaflow Cat-Back and Airaid Intake VS Tune, Full Kooks Exhaust, GT350 Intake Manifold and Throttle Body, Airaid

Pretty Impressive gains to say the least!

Looks good. Almost makes me think catted headers aren't worth the cost plus install though for the minimal gains. Off-road on the other hand....

The gains of catted versus off-road is less than a few hp. 200 cell cats arent very restrictive. This is why most race cat systems still fail emissions testing. I've attached a picture to help illustrate my point.

So is it safe to assume if you revise the tune for the new mods the car will pick up more power throughout the curve as well as peak?

How would this translate to a manual car? I've already got the headers and cai. I made 440. If I add this gt350 intake manifold what should I expect with dialed in cam tuning? I'm trying to decide if it's worth the cost

I can see 500 whp with gt350 intake, TB, full exhaust, good tune, e85 on a mt82 car.

I don't think those mods would be good for 500 maybe 465 -470... now add some Comp Stage 3 cams and you should be knocking on the 500 whp door...

I will be installing a GT350 intake and TB with 47lb injectors soon... once that is done I will be picking up long tubes and I will be very happy if I pull 470 at the wheels...

Where did you get the manifold from and who will be doing the tuning for you?
I'm about to buy the package right now. Just want to make sure I'm not wasting my 1000$ you know.
