Dyno a GT auto, what gear?

Hi, I found a company nearby that has a Dynomite axle-hub dyno.

My question is what gear is the best to do the test with and how do you keep it in that gear when it is an auto?
If I want to do a sweep from 2000-6000 in fifth gear, does it shift down to fourth or third if I go WOT? Or shall I stop just before I feel the kick-down engaging in the pedal?
Mayby a stupid question but I have no experience from dyno a auto car.

Put the car in "s" select the gear and it will stay locked in that gear. You can do 4th or 5th gear. I think 5th is closer to 1:1 ratio.

Actually 4th gear is 1.14 and 5th is .87 so I would go with 4th gear for the run.

OK, 4th it is then! Will be intresting to see what the euro-mustang can deliver, on paper 421 hp, don´t know why it is 14 horses short of the US modell?

I don´t think so, the other brands has the same rated power in US as in Europe.
And the ecoboost has 310 in the US and 317 in Europe so it has to be different software in the US v.s Euro models.
Hopefully a tune will change that!
