also kinda sucks as i am not finding a good selection of max performance tires in the 27" range 255 or larger.. i am talking 140ish treadwear track oriented street tires such as the rival. :(

That gets me thinking on how much diameter a tire loses between being new and losing 90% of its tread. And frankly how much weight a tire will lose over its lifetime. I guess I need to do the math.
