Dumb question

I recreated the Owner’s Supplement Kit with using the certificate and chassis number plaque Ford Show Parts and Carroll Shelby Racing sells, respectively. It’s pretty easy to do and your biggest expense is buying a complete Owner’s Supplement kit which matches your car’s model year.

Overall I’m happy I did it and having the recreated Owner’s Supplement Kit does make the car more complete, I think.

Here’s a link to the product from Carroll Shelby Racing I was referring to. When you receive the plaque it looks like the one on the display stand originally.

Ford Performance won’t “sell” the crankshaft model and stand after the original kit was picked up by the car’s first owner. Those items would come from another car’s Owner’s Supplement Kit.

Hello everyone, so, I have a 350R. I found another 350R from the same dealer with just 1K less miles (I have only like 2300 on mine), but it came with everything (the manuals, window sticker, crank shaft…all the cool stuff), but mine didn’t come with those, I kinda had to get some of that separately (the previous owner kept them). A part of me wanted that complete package. Given that I really have not driven my car, should I trade it for the “complete” one? I know it sounds super dumb, but I have to ask and just need someone to talk me out of it.

Hey everyone! Thank you for all of the amazing feedback! I have decided to keep my car and hold onto to it for as long as I can (which is hopefully forever). In the meantime, I’ll piece together any missing documents and I’ll try to hunt for the original supplemental kit; make an adventure out of it
