Dual 3" Mid muffler for Catless

I linked the wrong tab on my phone, and was referencing back to the 12599, sorry. the 12599 is an overall length of 28 in, 22in body length, 4 inches longer overall and has an actual x.

Our True-X mufflers work perfectly for quieting down the exhaust a bit, while getting rid of the unwanted rasp. The straight-through design wont restrict flow, and still gives you the same benefits as a standard X pipe. They have been quite popular with american muscle owners.

Not sure of the dimensions on the stock resonator, but would this be a direct swap? I want just a hair more sound out of my Roush AB

I had this setup on my 2005 GTO. It was in place of my X-pipe and then I had no mufflers out back.

It was BY FAR the best exhaust setup I ever had. If it were easy to do again or were available as a magnaflow catback for the Mustang w/ no rear mufflers, I'd be on it like white on rice. The exhaust in the middle of the car is kick ass.

What is it about the muffler(s) being in the middle of the car that makes it so much better than where they're currently at? And what kind of sound and volume levels would we be talking if you did this x-pipe muffler and no mufflers (stock or otherwise) in the normal location?

the tone of the exhaust is actually majorly affected by the location of the mufflers.

remember how awesome the fox body mustangs sounded all the way through the SN95 and new edge?

100% because the mufflers were in the middle of the car.

I went with race cats, but also added a pair of 3" Vibrant resonators. Sound is amazing, and the volume falls slightly louder than a cat-back unless I'm WOT. Then, she screams like a banshee.

They completely killed rasp/tinny sound levels, most of the drone from the mag comp AB, and with all 3" connections, it flows very well.

I'm thinking of welding a pair of these resonators behind the double x-pipe on my Corsa Extreme. The rasp is killing me. Do u think this is sensible?

Yeah, completely. Should kill the majority of the rasp.

Some of the rasp came back after mine cooked in, but it's minimal.
