What is best for ecoboost? Is the OEM filter really better?

K&N claim a few extra HP and you can just clean it when it gets dirty.

No air filter is best for an ecoboom.

I picked up an AEM dry on marketplace new for $40. Thought I'd give it a try, good reviews.

I trust the WIX brand, for my 2017 S550 i4.

But, after doing the cabin air filter I did notice that a lot of the road odors that didn't make it through with the OEM cabin air filter did make it in with any brand of replacement cabin air filter I tried, even the newer OEM ones... But probably cus you basically have to mash the thing in there with a gap between parts the size barely bigger than your fist, while upside down in the passenger seat, in the dead of 100 degree summer....
