Zombie Thread ...

Zombie thread lol
Oh no you did not go there. Some of us old timers were drag racing before you were born. And many of us have only perfected our skills as drivers over the years, not to mention we probably have more money for our toys.

agreed, but this poster isn't "old." I think like 80+ you need to take an annual exam to prove you can still drive

I am 52 this May... I have been wanting one since high school....but finances and raising 6 kids did not allow it. Almost talked myself into thinking it was too late and foolish for an "old guy" like me to have one. Didn't want to addres all of the Mid life crisis jokes... but in the end the vehicle itself won....The new 2015-17 model is just overwhelmingly cool and fun to drive. I finally bought my 2016 last September and love it. If you have the finances.. buy it....Trust me, you won't regret it.

If you are safe to drive buy the Mustang. The other option is tell her your buy a Focus, just don't tell her its the RS model

The majority of us UK owners are balding 50+ guys, who dreamt of owning a Ford V8 since they were little.

Also the cost of running a 15mpg car when fuel is about $8 dollars a gallon plus the heavy insurance premiums when you are younger, tends to mean that the average owner over here is a lot older.
