Drivers seat too high.

I have a 17 base with power front seats. I just noticed the passenger seat goes lower than the drivers.
When I wear my helmet I have virtually no head clearance to the roof. this with the seat fully in the lowest position. I just sat in the passenger seat, also power, and I have at least 2 inches of head clearance.

Does anyone know how to lower the driver seat?

On my 2019 the front and back of the seat raises and lowers independently from the other. Are you sure you haven't just lowered the front of the seat down and the rear is still raised? Only other suggestion I have if that's not it would be to lean the seat back a bit to get more helmet room.

It's not your first rodeo, I understand, but...any chance something is stuck in the mechanism? Something rolled underneath over the years and lodged itself in the tracks? Something modded for racing which altered the seat and how it works?

I have a long torso, I need a 3x shirt to keep the tail from riding up over my belly button.

Good suggestion, I never really looked at it when out. I will now.

I'm not a fan of the laying down seating position. Like old DW I like to get up on the wheel.

While I don't have any suggestions, I'll definitely be watching this thread.

@K4fxd : All this time I thought I was crazy when I replaced my 2015 GT with a 2016 GT and couldn't seem to get the seat as low in the 16. It would be awesome if there was some kind of adjustment underneath that would allow it to go that extra half inch or so down.
