Went to the track last night, and I sucked. Mine is premium, manual with 3.31's. I set it to track mode which turned off traction control. Launched ok, no tire spin, just rolled out hard like your leaving hard at a stop light. The 1-2 shift it wheel hopped and died for about a second then came back alive. The 2-3 shift a small wheel hop and same thing died about a second then came back alive. Did I need to turn stability control off also? Dang a hot rod that won't let you play. Tell me what I did wrong. Track was busy and I only ran that one time. I know, what did it run? It sucked 13.41

Yeah, probably should have turned all of the "nannies" off completely. Also, could have been the clutch protection I have read about other guys experiencing. I'm sure some of the other guys will explain more.

it was the clutch protection system. the only way to get rid of it is to have who ever tunes the car to take it out with the tune.

Yes, nannies off and try and get rid of that clutch protection.

As for the tire shake/hop.....we will get that addressed very soon. ;)

I've never had this issue with mt 15'GT but have with my 12' GT. You need to hold the traction control button for several seconds to fully turn off the traction and stability control off.

So next time I need to turn off both traction control and stability, right? I'm patiently waiting on BMR springs and what ever I need from BMR for the wheel hop. I really don't understand how Ford sells a $40,000 car that comes with line lock but wheel hops its ass off and then kills the engine and says don't do that?????? This thing wheel hops just like my 99' Cobra did, I thought Ford would have figured it out by now.

Last night was my first night at the track too. Wheel hop city when shifting to 2nd evey time. Pretty frustrating

Best run was 12.9@113 with a 2.2 60ft. I tried just having traction control off and also with everything disabled. Couldnt tell a difference between the two
