Are all drag springs created equal? From what I can gather, the BMR and Steeda drag springs are quite similar, although Steeda springs are ~$100 more expensive.

BMR = 150 lb/in linear rate (Front), 800 lb/in linear rate (Rear).
Steeda = 145 lb/in linear rate (Front), 750 lb/in linear rate (Rear).

Does anyone have any experience with these springs, and is there any reason to prefer one over the other for mixed street/strip use on a N/A Gen 3 a10 car?

I run the BMR springs. They do a nice job at the track. But I don't like the way they fill on the street.

Thank you. When you say you don’t like how they feel on the street, do you mean everyday driving ride quality?

Yes, it dances around a bit.
On the front only, I do run 26x6 Mickey Thompson tires on 4.5x17 rims, plus Hawk back pads. It does real well at the track.
But on the street it can be a bit scary. You will need to keep your speed down and be careful on uneven pavement and medium to high speed turns.
PS: Some of the movement could also be from the rear, where I run Mickey Thompson 275/40x17 drag radical slicks on 10x17 rims with stock springs, brakes, etc.

BMR recommended drag in the back, minimal drop in the front for street/strip. Feels great on the street (with street tires).

I think your wheel/tire combo is contributing to a lot of what you are feeling. I had a similar setup on my 06 GT and it was a dramatic difference when on the bigs and littles (dot slicks and skinnies) versus my street 18x9/18x10 setup on Nitro 555.

I went with Steeda drags, and they have a very good ride even with 19" wheels. Going to a tall drag pack soon.
