Hey everyone,
This week unfortunately I got 2 of my wheels stolen so I ended saying screw it and bought a drag pack. Got nitro g2 305/45/17 on weld Ventura beadlocks.
Wanted to know if for those who have added bigger wider tires have you guys used a recalibration or tune of some sort?. Or will all that be fixed was I tune my car entirely?. Thanks

Sorry to hear about the theft but that’s awesome you got the welds! I have the Weld Ventura non Beadlock with 305/45/17 MT Street Rs and 28x6 sportsman s/r in front. The stock tire height for my car is 27.66 in rear and 27.06 in front so yes a little taller, Speedo probably off a little bit and gear ratio as well. I have mine custom tuned but didn’t bother with tuning for tire height/width as I still run the stockers on the street. I would highly recommend getting a custom tune for increased performance. I wouldn’t worry so much about the tire height as the difference was negligible except for the awesome traction and great looks with the Welds! The welds are lighter than stock so you are decreasing rotational mass.

Thanks for the insight.
I’m doing the matching set to just waiting, it’s my daily so waiting to see. I’m tuning it for power, so it’ll be ok feels like it needs more power now lol.
