I've asked several vendors on here why they have not come up with a down pipe that can be switched from cat to non cat or test tube, it would be a great option for those of us that need our cars to pass smog, or for those that want to run clean, and have the option to run at track without cat, maybe something with some type of quick disconnect so it can be switched quickly, one vendor mentioned it's easier to switch the whole down pipe, but anyway just thought I'd throw it out there, and if any vendor uses my idea I expect a good deal on one

It doesn't seem like it would take any longer to swap the entire DP when the time comes. Looks super easy on the Mustang.

Map performance said they have a connector to switch back and forth from catless to the stock downpipe to connect up to their aftermarket exhaust.

A modular down pipe for this car would be great..vendors have them for VW and plenty other OEMs. Yes the mustang is easier to change but not as easy as a modular down pipe :)
