305/30 is a bit wide for the stock 9.5" rims. IIRC, most tire brands recommend a minimum 10" rim for that tire. You could probably do it, but you'll have a noticeable bulge on the sidewall. You also won't be getting the full handling capability that size tire has to offer.

It will "work" as in your car won't explode if you run those tires.

But it will drive like shit, and it's 100% a waste of money. You only get as much tire contact patch to the ground as wide as your wheels. Any wider tires and you're simply wasting money on rubber that will never touch the ground.

Either get proper fitting tires for your wheels (max 265/285) or get proper fitting wheels (10/11) for those tires.

I dunno about that. I have 325's on a 19x10 wheel and around hard corners, I promise you it's using the entire tread width. Straight line not so much. Running over some white carboard (at 32 psi) shows about 3/8ths per side not touching.

Thanks guys. I'll stick with stock sizing.

Appreciate it.

Actually 10.5 for 305s, though won't be optimum. Also a 305/30/19 is 26.3" tall, a 285/35/19 is right at 27". A mismatch from front to rear. I run 305/35/19s rear, 285/35/19 front. I had to run a Mich PSS outback as there is no PS4S in that size.
