I believe the stock amp is in the drivers side kick panel.

Does anyone have a diy for the kick panel removal? The premium amp is on the left side of the driver foot well correct?

I will be splicing in RCA's soon for a sub and there is almost no room to get up inside there to work

I may end up doing just that because it seems like a huge PITA to do any work under the dash, upside down and with a hot soldering iron in my hand

If you haven't already found the amp, this is it
It's tucked under the dash near your left foot

the larger gauge wires are the output, but you don't want to grab the signal off those, you want the small gauge input wires, they are already a low level signal, however, there is processing from the acm that WILL effect your sound from your new amp, you need to remove the processing, contact Jesse, member OEMRadio on here or email him at [email protected] to assist in removing the processing

Thanks for the info scott_0!

Is the acm reprogramming a must do? As in if I don't do it the sub will sound terrible? I must admit I don't know exactly what the difference is...

won't be issue if you're only doing a subwoofer, but if you're doing full range, the processing will effect the sound quality. there is really nothing wrong with going the LOC route, but there is bass roll off as the volume is increased. I got my sub signal right after the acm using one of OEMRadio harnesses
