The top ones with the engine designation/type were the original in at least the 2015 models. I believe they were still done through 2016 - at least partway, and changed to the newer style for the 2017 model year.

this is the version that I understood came on the 15/16 and I purchased in 2021 with (1X) at end of ford part number

this is the version from same vendor available now with same ford part number but with (X2) at the end

1st one says ford performance bottom right and the 2nd says special vehicles team. So which one or both came OEM on the 15/16? I don’t know for sure and thought was pertinent to this thread around OEM vs knock off…both appear to be OEM. Folks with 15/16 would need to validate which or if both were OEM during the 2 years.

this is what came OEM on my 2018 GT350 (17-20 I believe) and is also a ford accessory item.

Took delivery of a 2016 in April 2016. Later sold and bought a 2019, which I still have. Have tracked all changes from the original 2015/16 through the 2020.

The top version, with Ford Performance, came on all 2015/16s. In 2017, they changed to the bottom version (Ford Performance only).

Not crazy about the FP version, so even prior to changing out cars, I did a ton of research and ultimately ended up buying an "original style" set from Midway Mustang via Ebay. I also worked with Parts Farm, but they could only come up with one that was undamaged.

Through the pre-purchase research I also came across the middle version (original style but with SVT). From best I could tell (to include calling FP), the SVT versions are knockoffs, as was noted above.

Back then, I was irritated that they cost $175 second hand. The dealer was (and still is) about double that: https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/fr3z-6313208-da--x2.html

Just sharing an experience. Hope it helps.
