Anybody have tips on a clear covering that can be placed on door panels and kickpanels that will keep shoes from scuffing them. Maybe something with a electrostatic cling.

I dont know of anything but the ones RPI sells. They paint them to match your car. Id buy them if they were shaped better. I wish they went more up towards speakers like in last 2 pictures I posted. Or I wish someone made brushed aluminum ones to match the rest of my interior.

I just clean the scuffs off mine with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, however Im sure you can get clear vinyl off ebay and just trim to fit the areas

I been complaining to RPI for a while now. I would totally buy a set of aluminum ones to match my interior. it cant be that hard to cnc cut a thin piece of aluminum and put some 3M tape on the back.

In the mean time I have been walking around with meguiars interior detailer and after a few kicks i wipe it down.

It wouldn't be profitable to CNC them. More like die stamped.

I agree if you were to mill them, but it could easily be done on a CNC waterjet or laser cutter as well, which would make it much cheaper if you had sufficient quantity

Bumping this up to see if anybody has come up with a good "home brew" solution for this. Seems like I'm only conscious about half the time and end up getting some pretty good foot scuffs. Wondering if there is any black foam sheet that has some adhesive that wouldn't be too permanent to allow removal when it gets worn out. Anyone know of such a thing?

Been toying with the idea of cutting some static cling (no glue) window tint & seeing if it will 'stick' to the panels.

I considered the RPI ones, but they are pretty shiny & will scuff up as well & look like poo after a little while IMO.
