So, I've been shopping around for an upgraded pair of door panels. Finally found some with blue stitched leather and padded uppers. But the passenger panel has two depressions in the upper soft material. One obviously huge and the other potentially acceptable:

Has anyone had to repair anything like this and if so, what were your results?
The foam backing behind the fake leather is obviously squished, but is that permanent?

I'm defo not going to give you any guarantees or the nod to buy them, but ...

I reckon prolonged gentle heat and some careful massaging of that area would go some way to (if not fully) removing those indentations.

Do you have any opportunity to try before you buy ?

Too far away to go and see in person. Also kind of expensive to take a chance on it.
