Door drops when opening

New car and I feel the door drops when opening. Hardly noticeable to anyone but OCD kicks in. Anyone experience this and is there an easy correction without dealer?

If it is under warrenty take it to the dealership sounds like door bushings are wore

Does it seem like both driver and passenger doors have the same "drop"? If so, it's probably just you. You could also compare any other S550 and see if it feels different from yours. If so, take it to the dealer.

ur not talking about the windows going down then up when door shuts?

I will guess that the door was set a little low (sloping downwards towards the rear) at the factory and it's relying on the latch to compensate and pull it inline / level to keep the shut line acceptable when it's closed ...

Door needs adjustment at the A-pillar hinges or could need door catch adjustment at the B-pillar.

Take it in for warranty repair.
