Exactly a month! Priority 1 rocks! Get your dealer to give you one in negotiation. I got 1250 in rebates. 500+750 EAA. Along with X Plan of course.

The best Priority a dealer can give you is Priority 10. For anyone ordering, definitely ask for Priority 10. It seems to cut the wait to 4-6 weeks depending on where you are located.

Jealous. I ordered on 11/10 and the car should be here within the week... could even be here tomorrow.

I didn't know that you could negotiate priority level. I am highly considering canceling my order and reordering at another dealership.

Dealerships can't give priority 1. A regional supervisor can do it, but only usually if there is an issue. When the 2011's came out a friend of mine got a new 5.0. He had it a week until someone ran a red light and killed it. They put a new order in and the story was elevated and he got priority 1. New car was delivered a month after ordered. Some on this site have gotten priority 1 due to having job 1 orders that never made it out of QC. Priority 1 is not given out like candy.

It might not be given out like candy but it will be given to this cash buyer. My dealer and I will be having a talk tomorrow.

Ok the people saying it can't be done, it can and all you need is a large dealer who knows their Ford rep and it takes two seconds to get approved. I simply asked for a priority 1 and they checked with the Ford rep and said yes within the day and sent me a printout confirmation. And no it wasnt a priority 10. If you want something, just ask. Worse you can get is a no. And by the way, Im an Xplan buyer who used all rebates and they still did it for me. And yeah, one month from the day I called my dealer to delivery. Easy peasy. It would have come even earlier than that but for a train incident. I do buy a lot of Fords including my beloved 2005 Mustang GT from the same dealership in 2005 but I dont think they even knew that when they put in my order.
