Yea your def wrong.. Selling like crazy, they actually don't stay in the dealer very long. Complete redesign, nothing like the 2015. Interior quality is a 10 of 10 and much better than a Mustang. Def a compete 360 for 2016.

They do continue with the poor visibility to the rear.

If I wasn't getting a Shelby, I'd go with the SS all day after owning a '15 GT.

Have you sat in a Shelby GT350?

edit: ok nevermind I see you're one of those people who needs a neat radio in your follow up post. I'm more into hand stiched alcantara steering wheels and beautiful Recaro seats then all that tech junk but that's just me.

Have you even driven either a GT350 or the new SS in order to do a proper comparison besides just looking at price and the interior?

It certainly is disappointing to hear your comments knowing that you are buying your GT350 at MSRP.

Yea I have. Recaros was the only option I wanted. It's just missing the tech features. But I didn't get it for all the comfort features. Just comparing vs a GT which would be the average everyday vehicle.

Damn not bad for not being in all dealers in December. No wonder they picked up on the production.

I said quality of interior, not the design. But I wouldn't mind it. Heads up display, digital dash, nice infotainment, good sound system are all thing u can't find in a Mustang since they have no features. Sync 3 is the biggest upgrade which is a huuuuuge improvement over the garbage in the 2015.

I agree the rear isn't all that nice, but the front end and performance make up for it.

What good is interior quality of its not usable? I guess there is one thing to be said about the quality of the interior, if it is indeed an improvement...

At least when you're looking in your blind spot before passing or trying to back up you can see all that quality in all its glory cause you sure as heck can't see anything outside the windows.

2015 Mustang December 2014 sales of 9,511 vehicles vs 2016 Camaro December 2015 sales of 5300 vehicles. More than 4000 more Mustang sold for a 1st model year.

What's your Chevy story now?

No yes, def a 2016. See below. It isn't a marketing tactic either bc I actually stopped and test drove the SS and was quoted $5k off msrp.

You can pick up a 2015 for 10-15k off and z28 $25k off.

A lot of places advertise GM pricing and non existent incentives to lure people in. Most won't qualify for that price.

They just started shipping brah, some dealers haven't even received their first one yet.

Let's wait until spring before we start comparing. Plus it doesn't help when high volume Ford dealers give away GT Mustang's around $27k

Those are numbers from the first full month after '16 Camaro startup, so they're barely relevant. IMHO, the sales numbers for Mustang vs. Camaro will be so close for calendar year 2016 that we'll see all kinds of incentives on the slow-selling models later to create the ultimate winner - if that "contest" really is still important to GM and Ford.

Regarding '16 Camaros selling for $4-5K off sticker everywhere, I call BS. On a loaded 2SS, there's only a $2K spread between MSRP and dealer invoice, and there are no factory incentives (other than a lease on the 4-cylinder). Even if a dealer got a floor plan break, money from GM and gave the buyer the entire holdback and ad fee, the total wouldn't hit $4-5K. That doesn't mean that a few dealers wouldn't reach into their pockets and advertise a '16 Camaro as a loss leader to build showroom traffic, but that's not going to be the norm.

You make it sound like Chevrolet is a new startup company and didn't realize how make Camaro's they were going to sell in December. LOL

2015 Mustang sold 9000+ in December 2014

2016 Camaro sold 5000+ in December 2015

Wouldnt you expect sales to be quite brisk then? I mean its the latest and greatest they have to offer

Guys, Chevy is selling all the Camaros it can produce. In a couple of months, we won't be having this discussion. And comparing December 2014 sales of 2015 Mustangs that had been out for awhile selling against old Camaros the marketplace knew were going to be replaced soon against ramp-up sales of the 2016 is absurd.

After my e92 M3's engine that revved to 8,300, I don't think I can drive anything else. Ford is hitting home runs left and right. The new Raptor also has piqued my interest!
Sorry, I'm not into pickum up chucks, err trucks. However, I've heard good things about the new Raptor!
