Does Ford ship on a scheduled basis?

My GT went into the "Awaiting Shipment" status yesterday (11/19). Does anyone know if Ford has a set shipping schedule such as "every Friday" or twice a week? I'm trying to determine how long the car will be waiting for a train? Thanks

awaiting shipment length is uncertain.... like mine waited 12 days.... one of guys 19 days

Yeah, I wonder if that's why Ford started pushing EDD dates out a few weeks ago. They couldn't nail scheduling on outgoing trains so they padded the dates. That's my half-baked theory anyway.

Does allocation of the dealer affect shipping? Mine has been built since Monday 11/17 and it's still awaiting shipment. I contacted Ford service and was told the car is just waiting to be released from the plant but not given a reason why it hasn't been released yet.

nope it doesn... us is built 11/17 and its just 3 days../. shipping time entends to 20-22 days... i waited 12 days... many have waited even 20 22 days

I just got off the phone with some manager in customer support, it seems that there is a QC hold on them. I've been hearing on some posts here about a headlight issue. she said its "either a brake or seat belt issue. Sounds like nobody wants to say there really being held back. she did say they "hope" to have them delivered by the end of the month.

she did'nt say which month or year for that matter.

mine has been built since 27/Oct. and is still awaiting shipment :(
The day countdown for delivery has already expired and I have absolutely no information from my dealer, other than "they're running a secondary quality control".

Yes manual. But it saddens me to see that there are many issues on this car (GT, Ecoboost, manual, headlights, SYNC, ... just to name a few that I've read in the forum), and they give us no information of what is going on :(

see buddy its just we are the enthusiasts and we are impatient ryt,, no matter which car is released initial setups will have issues...

No car, software is really know of bugs until its in real time and from der things become better.. we should be happy that wen we get our cars ,, they will be perfect.

Ford is doing a good job while catching defects before consumer gets them

after heavy harassment from cotus... patience testing... and 6 days for arrival of my pony yes... i have become very patient and optimistic:headbonk::headbonk::headbonk:..
