you guys forgot the issue that the car boost to around 5-6psi when the turbo flutter occurs until the ignition is cycled. So how is that normal then?

did you guys realize when the turbo flutter happens the car will only go to 6psi boost level until the ignition is cycled. So how is that normal then?

The noise is normal, the boost problem is something you have broken. It's not the intake.

Does it go full boost otherwise?

it goes to full boost around 21 psi but when the turbo flutter sound occurs it won't go past 5-6psi

Let me get this straight and correct me if I'm wrong.

You can get full boost (21 psi)- so there is no restriction in the intake.

After you stab at the throttle to get the flutter sound, it will no longer go full boost at wide open throttle above, say 2500 RPM?

It doesn't. None of them "require" a tune to work just fine.
this.

i upgraded my downpipe, catback, intercooler, intake and was still untuned with no issues on my other Ford product with an ecoboost engine, can't see how the mustang is any different.

DO NOT BUY THE ROUSH MUSTANG ECOBOOST INTAKE!! THEY SAY IT DOESNT REQUIRE A TUNE BUT IT REALLY DOES!! I keep getting turbo flutter sound and compressor surge!!

I called there warranty department and a representative named JAKE and KYLE in sales and they both tried to tell me it is normal that I get turbo flutter and compressor surge!!!
I already responded to the original posting of this in the Roush section so i wont get into that any further. Our warranty and customer service team are working towards a solution to satisfy the customer.

Thank you.

I'm going to close this thread, for now at least, whilst the Roush Customer Service Team look to resolve this.

OP - hopefully you can start a new thread once this issue is resolved. I'm sure many of us would like to understand what the resolution was.

Thank you.
