wait I’m lost now. High beam?
So put my old cluster back in and get its base ipc file. Plug in new cluster and write the base ipc to that cluster. While high beam is on or find its line of code and update it

LOL, sorry to confuse you.

When you get the new cluster programed with your as built, the high beam indicator will not work.

The easiest way it to enter your vin at the ford service website and download your as built file then use forscan to enter it.

I'll try to find the high beam indicator address, I thought I had it saved but I don't.

Okay got it, I’ll uploaded as built data for my vin and update that line of code for high beams. Thank you! Hopefully this works!

I seen earlier post about the mileage, not being correct after the IPC odometer write. I found that adding plus four miles to the original mileage give you the closest correct mileage on the new cluster.

I tried that but it didn’t work sadly. Though putting the base model ipc got that error message to go away and I have a tach again.

Try 00 instead of 01

I never thought of trying that. Glad you got it working.

Program it with your cars as built info for the IPC.

So I installed the 2018 IPC into my 2016. My modes still work but for some reason the track mode doesn’t change the way the car shifts or the throttle response. I uploaded the old as built values and no change.
That line reads :
720-06-01: 6C7F-8000-18B1

I’ll try your IPC line then and see if that helps with anything tonight. Thanks.
I am sorry. I gave you my factory as-built config. The one that I am using for the drive modes is - 7C6D-167B-9840. please let me know if it worked for you.
