Just filled up, 370 miles to empty. I should say I just logged 320 miles on the last tank with 40 miles left to empty per the digital gauge. That includes some canyon running, long distance freeway miles, and typical stop and go city driving.

Drove down from Oregon to Fabulous Fords last weekend.
Was getting 380 going down and increased to 400 coming back.
I5 driving with the cruise control a lot of the way though.

See that is extremely weird. First time the dealership filled my tank, it was right at around that number. But lately it has been no more than 180. I use 91 to fill up so I don't see what the problem is. Any one have any idea?

For better MPG's YOU need the right shoe mod.
Take off right shoe
Remove 10 lbs of lead
Put rt. shoe back on.

OR

Move seat 6" further back

Indeed good sir. Point taken. It is a fact that I do (and I think we all do) every single possible thing in my power to destroy my mpg.
I get that my driving style will affect how many miles I get for one tank. However, should this number be any different when the tank is filled all the way up? I even tried resetting my Trip and Fuel Efficiency screens prior to filling up.
180/220 Tomato Potato. I'm not butt hurt about 40miles. Just wondering what the heck happened!? Ha. Can't be just me.

It's all of us. I get the worst mpg I'm afraid. It says I'm averaging 14.5 but I just got 180 miles to a tank. At 16 gal of fuel that's saying my mpg was really 11.25. Haha. Damn. :clap2:

Making me love my TDI and hate the Mustang. TDI averages around 50mpgs around $3.00 gal. Premium is quite more, as it will be my third car. It will be fun to the point, who cares about gas prices. :-)

Mine say's 12.7 1500ish miles never reset! But I'm smiling a little more than I did in my 05 STI!!!

I get 13 mpg and the most maybe 190. All city driving though, gas sucks right now=/

Kinda off topic but when do your lights come on? I've come pretty low but the gas light doesn't come on. Does it illuminate Amber?

I'm right in line with the 180 per tank but I drive mostly city. I don't drive trying to save fuel either!
