Disklock position and indent

Afternoon all, I know this subject has been brought up before but what was the general position that users found worked when these are fitted ie the position ? advice appreciated guys :thumbsup:

When I was using mine, I used a microfibre towel - 40x40 cut in half, and wrapped it round the 10 and 4 o clock positions before slipping the disklock on = no dents.

You'll probably find some photos if you search the UK section...

On my old Cosworth / Momo wheel I used one of those elasticated sheepskin covers - the kind of thing that was typically paired with one of these wooden beaded seat mats ... :cwl:

It worked a treat !

Turn it 90 degrees so the "handle" is vertical rather than horizontal and the curved part of the disclok is sat on the curved part of the steering wheel, job jobbed.

Yep, this is how I do it. Handle on the left hand side, vertically, and with the stretchy disklok steering wheel cover in place, I've not had any dents to speak of.
