My battery (2015 convertible GT) was dead again after only being parked for a week. Since I found the truck unlatched, I suspect one of our remotes inadvertently triggered the trunk release and then the light in the trunk stayed on. I'm thinking of just pulling the light bulb out in the trunk to prevent this from happening again (never need that light anyway). Any side effects to doing this? Also anyone tried it? Or a fuse I can just pull (looked in manual, but unclear which fuse is for the trunk light). I tried and couldn't easily get the plastic cover off the light fixture and didn't want to force for fear of breaking it.
