Hi,

I'm in the process of ordering a set of Vertini RFS1.9 wheels for my Mustang. They are definitely directional wheels, but I've been advised that they don't make different right and left sides. I checked photos, and sure enough, the spokes slant towards the rear on the left side and toward the front on the right side. Is this normal, or should I seek a different wheel that (if directional) has right and left mirror image variants? True that you only see one side of the car at a time, but........

Thanks!

Found this article. Apparently if the wheels don't point in the same direction no matter where you stand they aren't "true" directional wheels. It seems like some companies make two molds to account for different sides and some don't bother.
So yes, it's normal but they're not true directional wheels.
I guess the question about looking elsewhere depends on how well you like those wheels and how much your OCD can stand.

Yep, you nailed it. I love the wheels, and it will be healthy for my OCD tendencies to accept the difference, so I'm gonna go ahead with them. (I won't even go down the rabbit hole of which direction is the 'correct' one. (lol).)

Cheers!

Although its not something that I concern myself with, if it bothers you that much your only solution is to find a uni pattern such as a five spoke wheel that is visually the same no matter which side.
