Here the video I recorded of the problem I was having. I informed DD about this issue and they are sending me new one, but assume the new switchback will do this also?

Why are your DD ones all black? And I've been saying this for months but no one has ever reported a single issue with the ebay lights ever on the forum...I think DD has great customer service and warranty, just a shame the circuit board doesn't seem to agree with them. My rgb+w running lights from them are working great

That has some black because it fit loose, I used some electrical tape to keep it from falling into the housing

I will say that DD has great customer service and all the other bulbs I purchased from them work great. But until they figure out these switch backs, I'll probably just keep my eBay set in...

So when could we order a set of these and know that their will not be any problems? I want to order a set but want to wait until you know the ones you are sending out are not malfunctioning.

The eBay link shows a picture different than the ones you have with the black ends. Are the the ones you have from that same eBay link?

Also, do those eBay bulbs fit tightly in the socket or do they need to be modified?

That's the exact link I got. They're working great still.

Also, do those eBay bulbs fit tightly in the socket or do they need to be modified?

They fit tightly, I notice one tried to pop out a little so wrapped some electrical tape around it and it fit fine.

You just have to make sure the tabs are lined up in the socket so they get connection, just like the diode dynamics.

I've had my DD switchbacks for 3+ months with no issues. Just thought I'd add to the thread as, understandably, people with issues are more prone to post their experience. I am waiting for the inline (plug-in-play) resistors as contrary to others I can live without the clippity clop. It was clear before I bought there'd be a change in blinker sound. Just my 2 cents.

I agree; sound doesn't bother me, and having to warranty mine out don't bother me. I just got an eBay set for the time being.

UPDATE:

Was driving home from Miami today and when I stopped at a rest stop I checked and noticed driver side switchback was out, blinker and all. Turned off car and turned it back on and it started working again :shrug: I'm gonna keep an eye on it some more, just hoping it doesn't do that at night and I get pulled over.

I've went through 2 sets of Switchbacks and 2 sets of LED RGB fog light bulbs, and now my RGB led strip has issue with a few of the LEDs not working. I know if I call they will replace it but 3 different products have caused me issues and it's getting frustrating even knowing they will replace it for free.
