avoiding getting a fender bender and I had to curb the front wheel a little and ended up with a minor roll on the lip of the rim and some road rash. anyone know of a place that does repair work on rims in the North AL area?

This might help. I found a shop by stopping at the local Mercedes and BMW dealership and asking who they use. Also, you may have luck googling wheel repair in your area.

Also check eBay for a replacement, sometimes the TRUE 50th LE rims show up on there (not the "appearance package" rims, because those are different).

ya, i'm half tempted to find a replacement rim (they are staggered from the factory 9.5" and 10.5") and then get an aftermarket set for regular driving, store the 50th rims in the barn put them on for a show or resale if/when I decide to. I found a local shop in Tupelo MS that repairs rims, gonna go by there and get an estimate before I go down the purchase path.

If you’re willing to make a drive, Alloy Wheel Repair in Pelham, AL does good work. There may be one closer to you, but I can’t speak for their work.

I've been there and done that when I bent an aftermarket wheel on the VW. The price wasn't too bad, so purchased a new one and guess what, still have the bent one setting in the garage. :) In the case of the VW, the new wheels and repair weren't too far away in price. On the Mustang, I curbed a front and rear at the same time; it was much more economical to repair those two. On the other hand, I do have two sets of aftermarket wheels for the car....so it was no sweat to take off one set while the others were being repaired.

9 front and 9.5 rear… i wish they were 10.5 so I could fit a 305 tire…

50th AP are 8.5
