You just keep your mouth shut. I had enough of your misleading people here. You bring absolutely nothing to the conversation except a carcass to nail to the cross. You slimed around here and the whole time you were made a fool. Yes, a fool and Cadillac and GM did that to you.

So, I would just not come back here anymore... You were wrong, Caddy lied and you sucked it up...
HAHAHA!!! Jimmies rustled to the MAXIMUM!!

Keep exposing this fraud, 02gtnh.

Fact is, a 3809lbs car that is 109.3x62x184 is not going to be 110-140lbs lighter than a car on a 110.7x63.2x188.

The issue is... point to the areas where the SS lost 110lbs on the ATS-V... Go ahead, I'll wait...
I don't know much about the ATS V but what I do know is that Cadillacs in general seem to have significantly more sound deadening. My sister in law has a CTSV wagon and when you close the doors on that thing there is much more weight than the doors of my Camaro.

Not sure if anyone here has worked in the car audio field or not, but sound deadening materials can be very very heavy. For example, some of them are asphalt based with adhesive on one side. I'm sure when you've pulled back carpet in a car you've seen this stuff stuck to the body or doors.

I could easily see that plus heavier paddings and leathers etc. adding 100 pounds to a car.

Just a thought to try to keep this thread back on track.

Edit: Just looked... Dynamat for example is .68 lbs per sq ft. Their Dynapad which is a padding for noise reduction is over 1 pound per sq ft. So I could see some weight savings there. Just an example of a place that weight could be lost. Cadillacs are certainly quieter than my Camaro.

He is angry that I am going to weigh my car and he won't have a leg to stand on. When it comes in around 3,750 it's going to really hurt his image.......(that was a joke btw)

That's if you tell the truth  OR come in say my car is 3600 :lie:..

Real test is the track not 1/4 mile times which I don't care about. Motortrend and Car and Driver have always been bias's against Mustang

How is what Caddie did any different then what Ford did with there Mustang Euro weights? They said it was 3640lbs and you were positive it weighed that and kept telling people there the euro mustang had GT350 lighter parts that would make it to the US. Then later the number changes and now it shows there 3780lbs. I guess you forgot that.
Hey 02gtnh where did you get all your Euro weight infos? Got a link?

Cheers

Guys this has been explained by people who live in europe. They sell 2015 model cars in 2015 and 2016 models in 2016. When 2015 mustang came out in US, they copied 2014 spec sheet for missing informations.

Cadillac had zero intentions on updating their 3700lbs estimate...never, ever and nor did they care about the people that bought them. To them, the ATS-V is the lightest Performance coupe/sedan they produce and, in order to keep you believing, they continuously reference the ATS when talking about the Camaro. They assume everyone is as dumb as their customers. It has taken great effort in Social Media for them to be able to wrap you around their little finger.

But, never fear  a random, nameless nobody on the Internet is here to literally make them pay... well... at least force them to be honest...

However, even that may not help. As you can see, people will still defend a liar and a their if that's is in fact what they have been conditioned to be...

Oh I'm totally sure you're the reason they changed their estimates to actual curb weights.

Not me, more than likely C&D/R&T or Jalopnik. I stayed in contact with someone from their publisher(s) and editors throughout the entire 6th Gen process.

Nobody would have said anything or even known they got taken if it wasn't for thePill.

It has brought great credit to my brand

Pill,

So the camaro ss won't run 3.9 s to 60's and low 12's in a quarter mile with 3672 lbs of weight? Is this what you are getting at? If this really is the case and then the six gen camaro buyers are in for a treat, but i highly doubt it.
