More RPM range adjustment and you can only use LC with TC on.
What about when you tap the TC button once (not hold it in to turn advance track off) and it's just an RPM limiter according to the dash. Doesn't say LC when you do that, just says RPM if I remember correctly. Is the traction control still active at the point?

I thought when it transitioned to RPM that meant that it would just rev to the idle rev line, not the LC designation. I could be wrong.

I wonder if rpm shows while traction control turned completely off, would it still mess with your launch? I tried launch control got a 2.0 sec 60', with it off managed a 1.75 launching at 4500 as well

I don't think so, no. I think the "RPM" designation is just to let you know LC is also disabled.

It will still hold your rpm at whatever it's set at in the LC screen. I haven't tried launching it though so I don't know if there's still traction control garbage going on or if it is actually acting like a two step without the nannies.

There's still traction control / nannies tied to OEM LC. Its garbage for the track - I've never tried it on the street, maybe it works okay for that. MSD FTW

From my experience using it at the track, even when advance trac is disabled LC still uses some trac/stability control.I tried it from 3k up to 4.5k and my car still did not launch as hard when i used the launch control.

I know that Launch control still uses the nannies. I'm asking about when you just disable traction control and the screen says "RPM" instead of "LC"

What I'm really wanting is someone who hasn't put there car away for winter is for them to go on a drive, just tap the traction control button to only turn traction control off and see if the nannies are there when the screen says RPM

AdvanceTrac is definitely still there. Not sure about any iteration of TC.

Basically, best scenario is take out fuse 62 so you fully defeat the nannies and buy a 2-step.
