OK .... Just to sum up in my case: washers are OK and I should wait until you've completed analysis to see if a solution (ie shim plate) will be available for those of us with this issue. Sounds good to me and I look forward to revisiting this in a few weeks.

Already tried that ... followed the directions which states this. Not my first mod and/or working on vehicles, got lots of experience. The arm appears to be off as the forward edge has a smaller gap than the rear ..... the whole mounting pad is on an angle to the frame and the gap is a good...
