difference in 2017 to 2018 mustang

So You can put a ported 2018 Intake on a 2017 with a proper tune.. I drove a 2022 a 2015 my boy has a 2012 puts down 800 wheel and I have the 2017, I couldn't feel a difference other than an extra 800 RPM at the end of my shifts... I didn't feel a power drop over 6800 RPM, that was the only difference.. Even though Gen 3 guy's like to show you a whole list of why they are better even though on a DYNO chart there's not much of an end difference.. The Gen 3's hit 7500/7700 RPM and Gen 2's can hit 7000. Torque drops at 6800ish RPM. From what i can tell.. All great info though..

From what I can tell, the main advantage of the Gen 3 is that because of the dual sets of injectors, you can run e85 with only a tune. It has never been clear to me if a gen 2 needs more than a tune to do the same.

you need to upgrade to 47lbs injectors on gen 2
