Before you go out and buy 10/11” wide wheels, make sure you know what /tires/ you’re going to put on them. There arent a ton of tires in 305/35R19 and making a poor tire choice will mess uo an otherwise good decision.

too many threads people have just bought wheels and then struggle to find a good tire that fits both sizes of their staggered wheels. Plan ahead!

As for your current set, i’ve never seen those tires before which makes me think probably cheap junk. As for the wheels, a +35 offset is fine but 8.5 is very narrow. 19x10” square is a good setup, and 10/11 staggered can work if you can figure out some good tires

so a dual 19x10 would be better since its same size…? I’m assuming the offset would be the same on both then…? Like a +35?

for a blower, I get the appeal of doing a wide tire in the rear. Its just a waste if uou end on a 3XX rear tire size but its not actually a grippy tire. but also, dont do a 10” tire and then try to cram a >300 tire on it. If you know you want a 305 or 315 rear tire, get the 11” rear wheel.

a square setup you have the maximim tire selection options, and yes a 19x10 ET35 with a 285/35R19 tire will fit on all corners, but thats not universally true for all square sizes and offsets. Any wider than 10” and any lower offset (smaller offser means closer to the fenders), you wont clear the rear fenders. On the front any wider or higher offset and its hard to clear the front struts, so offset gets picky and/or axle specific when you go wider than 10”

I would do 10’s in front with +35 offset and 11’s in the rear with +50-52 offset with at least a 305 if going FI.

Also, buy the best possible tire you can afford. Tires are literally the best performance mod you can get next to driver mod.

I actually found a set of GT 350 rims that someone is selling that is 19 x 10 and 19 x 11. I was always more of a fan of aftermarket rims but how did the oem ones compare vs aftermarket…? The main difference is that the offset is +40 on the front versus +35, but the rears are still +50.

I currently have the GT350 wheels, 10.5 & 11 wearing 305 & 315-30x19 Cup2s on FI Bullitt, they fit fine, however with traction control off I can easily overpower the 315s in the lower gears...would include a picture but this app won't let me attach one...

I’ve got a 2019 convertible GT. It had the black accent package with the black rims. I think the previous owner must’ve messed them up but he replaced them with some niche 19 x 8.5 rims. With a +35 mm offset. It has 255/40 19’s all around. Is there any advantages to the set up versus OEM? And if not… What would an ideal size and set up the four the car in preparation for a supercharge kit?

I hate the security software at my office. The page reloads more often than it will take an input, so I have to copy and paste this…

Maybe you should keep the tires while you’re checking stuff out and getting used to the car. Once they wear out, then it’s time to go shopping.

I think a stock, super-basic GT came with 255mm tires.
My GT-PP1 came with 255s on the front, on 19x9 wheels.
I have 275s on the rear, and my car can spin the rear tires and fishtail in 2nd gear, at part throttle.
Between that and your mention of forced induction, I’m adding one more vote for 305mm tires on the rear, with 19x11 wheels.
Whether you want summer tires or all-season, shop around and look at the traction and treadwear ratings.

Also, those brakes are silly. I can’t think what racing series even uses cross-drilled rotors anymore. Not Nascar, not F1, and certainly not endurance racing like Le Mans. In my 20+ years of autocross and however many track days, I’ve never heard any praise for cheese grater brakes.
When they crack or wear out or whatever, replace them with regular vented rotors.

Considering the previous owner did all that for looks…
If you haven’t checked the alignment, you should. If the PO ever even got an alignment, I bet it has practically zero camber.

so a dual 19x10 would be better since its same size…? I’m assuming the offset would be the same on both then…? Like a +35?
I wouldn't assume that about the offset.
There’s a way to use the same size tires, front and rear, but I think the front wheels need a spacer.
...Then you need to read a thread about spacers and see what kinds are safe and what kind is crap.

I pretty much got my mind set on 19”x10” on the front and 19”x11” on the rear. The 305/285 setup sounds like the plan.

I found some GT350 wheels (10”/11”) with Michelin PSS 295/305 set up. I just need to make the 3 hour drive to get them.
