I have a feeling the wheels we've seen won't be available when the car goes on sale, at least not fitting the same. From people who've seen the car in person stating the wheels look pushed out as tight to the fenders as possible tells me the wheels(or wheel specs) were chosen for maximum visual impact and might not be practical for retail models. Time will tell obviously.
Since there have been articles describing that a goal between the designers and engineers were to indeed do this, I actually would be surprised if what we have seen is not representative, especially this late in the game. Also, there was mention of the stance in the rear now being different because of the IRS packaging and suspension dynamics.

Mainly, I am interested in seeing if all of the orderable wheel and tire options will be different than what has already surmised from the information released.

Any chance you can bring a refrigerator magnet with you so you can test each body panel for aluminum construction?

I mean unless they have the Mustang sitting on the spinning stand, I don't see why not :D

Car companies have been putting lowering springs and wheel spacers on show cars and press picture cars since the invention of the wheel. Spacers can be easily spotted though, so for those going to Detroit it might be worth while to check for that as well. :)

First priority for me, get yellow Mustang. Second, get stance and wheels right. Third, get supercharger, pulley and tune sorted out. I don't wanna give up my 600whp '11 and not get this one up there or a little more lol

There are a lot of steel alloys that are non-magnetic so that might not be as useful as you imagine. Would be nice to have that attention to weight savings in the Mustang as they put into the F-150.

If F150 is a success, you can bet that tech will filter down other models. I hope we don't have to wait for the 7th Gen Mustang though!
