Dent/chip question

Pull the dent, install PPF, and use a Sharpie on the PPF to make the paint chip less obvious? I am only half-joking. It is hard to see how large the paint chip is from your picture, but if it is small then that is what I would try.

I have the same mindset generally. But as I've grown older I have learned through experience that chasing perfection with small issues can lead to much bigger issues down the line. I can't tell you how many times I've had a minor issue with my cars that I deeply regretted getting "fixed".

Yes, of course the whole panel needs painted. It is the clear coat they are referring to, not the color. It is only getting enough color sprayed on to cover the primer area and blended out then clear coat over the whole thing.
