Delivery date confirmed

Posting here as my wife is no longer interested in hearing me talking about my wait, the list of mods, ignoring her while reading forums or looking at photos.

I placed my order in Feb, and today got an estimated build date from Stacey of 3rd June 16 which she confirms will make it a MY17 car. I know the wait for delivery will be long and the nights will be drawing in by the time it arrives but now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

How bad is the wait from build to delivery on UK soil?

Once you get on the boat at Baltimore it becomes bearable. For me the wait between gate release and boat was the worst bit, of course having waited nearly 11 months by that point I was getting proficient at it... ;)

I'm a Feb order too, so hopefully wont be far away on a build date too!!!

I'm a mid-Feb order too and dealer confirmed build date of 2nd June.

Mine's an EB, which based on V8hgt dates, would seem the V8 and EB are now on similar timescales...

Or is there some reason for slower delivery after build for the V8.... maybe a much slower boat

Well done, that's great news, only a 3 month wait from order to build. I ordered in December and my build date has remained second half of May. I don't know how they schedule production in that factory but it's unlike any system I've worked with. I only hope they've worked as hard on reducing the factory to dealer timeline. Still awaiting my own update from Stacey. Keep us posted

Can confirm... Knowing my car is just sat at the docks not doing anything is so frustrating!

Congrats, you want to allow around 8-10 weeks from build date to delivery at dealer/ collection

I agree it's all a bit crazy ! I wonder what the longest wait from order to delivery has been ?

If i remember it was almost 2 years, was ordered early 2014 long before the Champ League event, still wasn't one of the first batches arriving.
