The 15's won't move for weeks, if several weeks. Perhaps after Lime Rock some news will be more favorable I'd hope.

Still have the final tour @ Sebring as well. . . who knows, late Oct. , early Nov??

At this point - nothing we can do but just speculate and WAIT.

"It still boils down to there was never an official release date given that I can recall. Does anyone have that? I may have missed it and don't feel like searching for it. Everything was later in the year with no specific date given."

CORRECT. FORD SAID FALL OF 2015 AND nothing MORE SPECIFIC THEN THAT. People claiming otherwise are dreaming (fall is 3 months long so any date therein qualifies).

"But, given all the noise here being generated by people that are expecting the product you think we could get a little something from Ford. Unless it's totally embarrassing to them I dont see why they would hold back any news. What percentage of buyers would jump ship? Has to be small, and that would only be back filled very quickly by those waiting in line."

WHAT NOISE??? Other then 35 idiots on the internet. Ford has not and will not lose 1 GT350 sale over the "delay".

Ford has NOTHING to gain over a public discussion of this or any other 'delay' issue.

What--are you guys really expecting Ford to come forward and say we are having problems with xy & z.... really- are you all that naive when it comes to business?

All a statement like that would do is invite MORE questions as to how the mistake happened, who made the mistake, what is Ford doing to prevent such mistakes in the future, if Ford made this mistake what other mistakes have they made and concealed, are all their cars and trucks really safe, is Ford still using that "mistake" vendor and if so WHY, and if Ford will discontinue using that 'Mistake" vendor WHY..... You are asking Ford to take a NON-STORY and turn it into a full blown media inquiry. And then watch the Ford Board of Directors FIRE the simple minded idiot that spoke to the media that then drove the issue and resulting 10% dump in the Ford stock price; not to mention the potential stockholder lawsuit(s).

oh but in the simple minded minds of the 18 yr olds on this thread--all Ford has to do is issue a short press statement and everything all goes away... Sorry little boys but this a big boy pant world--those wearing their capris today need to stay home...

OK, so now we have a pretty good list going. Who can add to it?

The reason the GT 350s aren't shipping is:

1. Excessive engine vibrations
2. Hood
3. Defective part from supplier
4. Ford wants to ship on day Camaro hits the market
5. Panel gaps
6. Dealers complaining about unfair allocations
7. Exhaust system
7. Stripes
It's a conspiracy with FCA to inflate Hellcat Challenger pricing! :D

Hey - be careful, pal. My first car was a Capri. And I won't even tell you what I was wearing.

And while your estimate of 35 idiots on the Internet is probably pretty accurate, if every one of the 243 people here who have claimed to do so actually ordered a GT 350, that's still less than 6% of all the potential 2015-2016 GT 350 buyers.

The motto for this group should be, "Speak loudly, and carry a small stick." :headbonk:

How'd did you know I am wearing capris? Are you stalking me??

When you learn how to use the quote function you can then pontificate on and on needlessly for no reason at all about everything in which you are smarter than everyone else.

Seriously, everyone needs to take a chill and realize that everyone is just expressing frustration and wishing they had an answer as to when their car will be delivered, not what is causing the delay. That's the root of the issue here. Nothing more.

I do think the panic is kind of hilarious.

What if material hold in this case is code for "holy shit we can't really send these things to owners before giving them to the car mags," ie, "we don't really want our performance numbers to come from Joe Smoe."

Which is probably where we are at.

My money is, once the embargo is lifted/track tour is completed, cars will start to trickle down to owners.

The internet rumor machine is an incredible and unstoppable force - there's nothing Ford can do to placate it. So why even fight that fight?

Ha! Guilty as charged.... but don't bomb the messenger. Ford's ETA for mine was supposed to be week of 8/3 and then changed to week of 8/11 as seen in post #1. :headbonk:

At this point, I really hope they robustly sorted everything out and about to start to release for shipping. Mine is like 2-months overdue but I'm still excited like a lollipop kid. :D

I vote number 11.

I rode in one on Saturday, you can't definitely feel some vibration but nothing to write home about. I really wouldn't care but I can see some people complaining, especially on deceleration.
