A comment from Down-Under in Australia, I had a Steeda H Pipe fitted to my 2019 Bullitt Mustang by a muffler expert and he said that the car would breathe much better and I would pick up between 3 and 5 horsepower. The car sounds like a true classic Ford V8 muscle car and you can modulate the sound with active exhaust from quiet, to normal, to sport to race track. It has a deep throaty burble at low revs to a classic V8 roar and rumble at higher revs. Go with the H Pipe, you will not be disappointed.
I did the same to my 2019 Bullitt down here to. Mine is the Roush H pipe.

The H pipe in tests produces no extra horse power but the X pipe does and gives a few extra horse power. I actually felt i may have lost 1 or 2 horses. But the noise is old school V8 growl.

Steeda H-Pipe or X-Pipe with Active exhaust is a great add ... compliments the Active Exhaust very well!
I want something stronger but not outrageous... my mustang doesn't have an active exhaust

Then just ditching the resonator will probably give you what you are looking for. Volume will go up but it’s not outrageous.

Even without the active exhaust - the X/H Pipe will still do a good job waking your car up!

I did a Borla SType cat back system and it comes with an X Pipe. Great sound, tame while cruising and loud when you punch it. ABSOLUTELY no drone. Love it.

Anything that makes the exhaust louder is illegal in MA and adds drama to inspection day. Maybe you get a sticker, maybe you don’t. My previous owner did a res delete and i eventually found and installed a stock exhaust because the noise was quite brutal by eastern MA standards. Both inside and outside the car.

If you have Active Exhaust this will be a non-issue. Car is dead-silent in “Quiet” exhaust mode, even with the resonator delete.
