Why do you want to avoid Kona?
Kinda, "Been there, Done that." Plus Kona is a beast to keep smudge free. But looking at the Deep impact, I am perhaps swayed.

Oh okay lol 3 black cars later and Kona seems like a vacation. Hence my main reason for buying an LE. Plus kona in the sun is spectacular.

Until it gets dirty. Seriously. DIB on my Dad's 14 is almost as bad as black to keep clean. It's ridiculous. Then again, my yellow Mustang is just filthy right now, so you can't win either way.

I'm in love with that rendering above. While I adore the tri bar on the front headlights, I kind of like the horizontal bar.

My 2005 gt was black and my 2011 kona is just as rough. But, these deep impact 2015's are awesome looking cars.

The only easy color is silver.. No thanks I'd rather be out every four days washing my beautiful blue baby.

Very true. Silver is really the only easy color maintain. My car now is white and that is still a pain to keep clean with all the rain in South Florida.

Which is ironic, since silver is one of the most difficult colors to have touched up, repaired or matched. I guess I'd rather have a color that is more of a pain to keep clean but is much easier to match in case I ever have to have the car in the body shop - or I ever want to add aftermarket parts that need painting. One thing I can't stand is poor paint match on a car, and I seem to be more attuned to it than a lot of people. I think a dark color like DIB would work well with that regard.

Yea usually the brighter colors are harder to color match because a lot of paint/repair shops won't get the color exactly or even the clear coat right to give it the right shade, white and silver especially.

The photos on the first page show chrome edging around the side windows, but the Ford order page and most of the photos I've seen of Mustangs making the rounds to dealerships show black edging around the side windows. Was the chrome a pre-production feature that has been dropped? I know it's on the 50th Anniversary LE, but the photos on the first page appear to show a normal GT, not an LE edition.

They are LE and I believe Anniv Package too. Other than that, it was just mismatched trim parts...

If you're talking about the first post it's just the lighting.

By mismatched, I meant using parts from trims not them own. Like using LE wheels in the Turbo car for example...

Because I'm a sucker for stepped lip wheels, I did some PShop w/ CCW Classics. For a reason, CCWs (or their replicas) aren't as popular on 2005+ guys as they're to the SN95s, New Edges or even Foxes guys.

I think they ended looking badass on the S550. Any well made stepped lip wheel will look awesome IMO.

I think the Café stripe gave to the S550 a very vintage look to it and loved the result.

Red is my fav color and I really like tasteful red accents on cars. Like red stripes or mirrors. Usually people put red accents on Black, White, Grey and Silver cars. But I think it works really well over Blue too. Anyways, we all are different and it's a matter of personal preferences and genetics lol
