I am putting on a howling coyote badge on my decklid, what are my options to cover the 2 extra holes besides a new decklid? I bought the hole cover kit, but its only good for 15-17', I have a 19 that already has the lines. Any ideas?

All kinds of horror stories fixing those holes. In the end, buying a new one is your best option. Look on e-bay for reasonable priced ones.

New ones run about $160.

I just bought a Scott Drake decklid for mine. You could always put the badge on it. It was $175.00. I'm keeping mine blank as I prefer less badges, but you can definitely toss a badge on this one. The curvature is gorgeous as is.

I got a blank decklid on amazon for like $90. Fit is fine. Does the job.

I got one from eBay for like $80 and it’s fine. It had some extra tabs I had to cut off, but fit and finish is fine.

That looks virtually identical to the Scott Drake decklid I just bought for 175, minus the badge. What search terms did you use to find this on Ebay? I tried multiple ways to find it on there and never could get any results other than straight blank decklids.

The pic does look like the curvature is offset though. Am I seeing this wrong or are the angled lines offset to the right on the pic?

I got a blank decklid because I already had the badge. As far as fitment goes, it fits like the one I took off.

Howling coyote looks ok on your hotrod, maybe small. The GT is really strong looking on the car, would not swap or delete it. Some things are best left alone, and this is one of those.

What lines are you talking about? It’s a blank decklid.

That's why I was asking if I was seeing it incorrectly. It looks like it has curvature in the decklid like the Scott Drake decklid.

The original is not flat. They both have a slight curve.

Some like and some don't. The 5.0 was the first to go and then the GT, next the chrome pony.

I got a 18 blank decklid for $100 on sale awhile ago, had a badge made and will be installing it on Monday, so I’ll let you know how it goes.
