Blend date is the date your car hits production, it's located on the top of your window sticker once you receive that.

Priority was on the DORA. Page 2, upper right under the order date.

Cueball, I have a build date of 2/2/15, Priority code is 10. Can you please explain what the priority code indicates?
Or can anyone else explain the significance of the priority code to me?

The priority number indicates the order in which your dealers orders will be built/fulfilled in. Priority 1-9 are reserved for the need of rush orders (i.e. your mustang gets destroyed during delivery so they re-order you another with priority 1 - then the wait is about a month as opposed to 2-3). So most retail/stock orders will start at 10 and go up from there.

If you had a priority of 12 - then that means there were at least 2 other mustangs that were ordered at your dealership that are in line ahead of you (this does not necessarily mean yours will be built later). Your dealer's allocation also plays a role in how fast your mustang gets built.

Ordered EB Convertible, 31 Dec (Two week hold...New Years til 15 Jan). I have a Priority 10. My dealer got a phone call on 14 Jan that my build date was the second week of February. Cotus showed my VIN on 16 January. But Cotus still does not show the build date. I am wondering if Ford estimate for build date was wrong.

If it it not a disagreeable thing for you to do, it would be helpful include in your signature what you ordered: GT, EB, V6, Convertible (+options if you like) as well as all the order timing info you know. This will give us context for the new info you share. :ford:

I was very fortunate to order today. I ordered through the GM, since he takes care of all the vehicle orders, and said that he'd bring it in on the next allocation, which he said i should have a build date in the next two weeks! That could mean a two month wait instead of four! Very excited!

My order # is D015, which I was assuming was the 15th all Ford models that that dealer had ordered for 2015 (for customers not stock), but was a total WA guess and unrelated to the above.
