Sorry i know this is kind of strange post, but i have quite a bit of chemical guys detailing stuff. the born on date is 2017 so its around 3 years old and always been in garage. I was wandering if there is an expiration date for stuff like this. I dont see anything on it or would it still be good.

The only thing that really expires are cutting/polishing compounds.

This is just leather cleaner, detail spray, interior cleaner, tire shine and etc

I've got stuff that is over 10 years old and it still works as good as new. But they were never subjected to temp extremes so that may have helped it survive.

What kills chemicals and how they're expected to work is storing or using them outside their normal parameters. Most common is storing them in overly hot or cold conditions, or if the bottle allows air in, oxidation can occur, etc. But if you avoided storing them too hot, or too cold, then you're fine.

i have stuff that is 3-5yrs old and still good.
i asked at the cars shows one time with meguiars and adam's and they both said that if the product smells like it has turned sour most likely it has. if you still get the smell of the wax/polish/sealant or whatever you are using that had the original smell then its probably still good, only thing might be the longevity of the product lasting on the vehicle might be diminished.

Heat tends to be the worst enemy of the products. Even living in Colorado, I had some Black Fire products go bad to leaving it in the garage heat in the summer.
