Dealer sign ups for allocations

No, but you are way behind the 8 ball if you are waiting for the order banks to open if you really want one. ADMs are already high according to some YouTube videos.

Allocations and getting in line to order are 2 very different things. I would like to know how the allocation process works myself. Honestly the 1/2 dozen dealers in my area I talked to about allocations and 'pre' ordering all seem oblivious......

I put a deposit down in June for a second call/chance on the 1st allocation and first call on the 2nd and got it in writing (email) from the sales manager when I picked up my wife’s mustang. I also made sure it was stated that I get the deposit returned if I don’t agree with final pricing.


I’ve been waiting for this car since ‘15 MY.

Well I’m locked in for the first allocation but he has not heard anything from ford. He is not sure they are getting an allocation but if they are they have to buy into the program and they have not seen that request from ford.

Assuming production is the same as 2013/14 they will get an allocation so I’m hoping for that.

Just curious if anyone has hard something official or have an idea on when the dealers can sign up.

Nothing official yet.

Almost all Ford dealerships will be able to get 2020 GT500 cars, however not near as many dealerships will have GT500Rs.

Anything concrete on there being an R? I have the 350r and that was a journey to get that one let me tell you lol. Of course I’ll want the 500r if that’s a reality.

Not anything concrete but Ford has released both these pictures.

The one with the large wing should be the R version and the other a base version.

The R version looks to have a front spoiler and a bit more rubber protruding out the back as well. I would have thought the hood pins would be on the R version.
