This one is getting closer to what I'm looking for in a dash-cam, but I'm not planing to rip my interior apart to muffle away wiring..
Now if some clever developer would make something like this in a wireless format I'm in! There are so many wireless security cams out-there already so why not make it available for dash-cams..

2 small cams and 1 receiver/recorder with a long lasting battery is all we need!

Transmitting video wirelessly just takes too much power for that to be possible with todays battery technology.

Tucking lines under the headliner and pillars really isn't that hard.

Just installed my Mobius C lens. Here's a couple vids going to work in the morning and coming home. Ignore the language, I'm not a morning person...

Thanks. I routed it from the headliner into the a pillar cover, tucked along the side of the door behind the vent up under tyne glove box and plugs right into the cigarette lighter. I didn't have to pull anything apart just tucked under everything easily. I can get some pics when I get off of work if you'd like.

i would love that man, i've been thinking about mounting my mobius to the windshield for a while now. i currently have it in a headrest mount with the cable plugged into the armrest.

i do have a 2nd mobius so maybe ill just spin this one around and just mount my other one where you have it for front and rear view action.

Installed the A118C neatly behind the rearview mirror a couple weeks back. Hardwired it up to the mirror using an ebay kit with an inline fuse, so no cables to string around the pillars.

The video is surprisingly crisp for such a small gadget. Picks up audio very well too.

It's just a transformer and an in-line fuse. Mini usb connection on one end and bare power and ground wires on the other.

I added pins to plug directly into the back of the mirror connector. I don't like vampire connectors or t-taps because you're weakening the main wire in the process.

Radioshack d-sub pins work perfectly ($1 for 11 pins). Crimped and soldered onto the bare wires.

In the overhead map light cluster. It's a little tight but zip ties are your friend.
