I haven't uploaded the video to youtube and it's too large to load here. The 2x4 hit my front left fender of my SUV. If it would have been my Mustang I'd have been pissed. If I was on my motorcycle it may have killed me.

i should be receiving my mobius dash cam pack today. what do you usually do when you grab the videos off of it, do you take the entire camera with you or do you just grab the micro sd card off of it

I've done both. It's easier to just pop out the micro sd and use the sd adapter and plug into your laptop or card reader. Use windows explorer under that card folder and you'll see all the video clips. I suggest config the camera to 3 minute video clips. There are a bunch of settings in the setup software and I'll try to post the best set up instructions tonight. I keep forgetting to do this for you guys.

Because they will be smaller files to deal with if you ever need to put them on CD or thumb drive. Mobius always overlaps video clips by a couple seconds so you'll never lose video.

At the highest data rate and highest resolution 3 minute files are 400MB.

Mobius software config I suggest for our Mustangs.

- Plug your camera into the computer via USB.

- Go to https://www.mobius-actioncam.com/downloads-info/ and download the msetup.zip and remember where you save it. Then launch it from windows explorer.

- Once the msetup.zip opens make sure you click on the D:mobius... in the top white window. This will activate the selections in the below sections.

- Step through my screen shots and select what I have. Click Save and you're done! Go try your camera.

- After you take some video, plug in your camera or memory card to the computer and you'll see the d:mobius files. Click on the files and see videos.

HOPE THIS HELPS.

FYI - I config for motion sensing because our Mustang power port stays on for 90 minutes after we lock the car. The camera will continue to record motion as it senses it. Not a bad thing to have it watching the car. :)

It will record all the time while driving. It may stop recording at a stop light if no motion is sensed...this is normal. Just watch the red light start flashing again once it senses motion. Don't worry, it won't miss anything.

the new mini 0806 is looking good. Has all the features mentioned. Ultra high def and I love that it has dual microSD with the highest capacity that I've seen at 128GB.

Hey,

I'm Kelvin from BlackBoxed.ca. Thank you, geokots, for recommending our new Mini 0806. It really is a great dash cam with a lot of features. The dash cam actually supports TWO 128 GB MicroSD cards, so a total of 256 GB. It is on pre-order right now until we get the next shipment some time mid-Feb.

If anyone has questions about the Mini 0806 or anything related to dash cams, let me know. I'll be happy to help!

Kelvin
